I'm an awkward human at heart,
often uncomfortable and self conscious,
uncertain of what to do or say.
For me, laughter has become a tool,
a gift for connecting with people
and bringing joy to those I love.
My favorite moments are those
with stifled giggles and full hearts.
I am forever grateful for those memories,
so I call out to the universe,
to the spirits of laughter,
to simply say thank you.
Thank you for laughter shared,
between friends old and new.
For bonds forged and solidified
through shared humor.
For breaks awkward moments,
and connections newly formed.
For inside jokes, and life long stories.
Thank you for all these happy memories.
