Learning the Greek Alphabet Oracle: Eta

Welcome back to the Learning the GAC series. This week, we move on to the seventh letter, Eta!

Description:

Depending on the situation in which the omen is received, Eta can be an omen of mixed messages. It reminds us that Helios, the bright god of the sun, shines high above us bringing to us warmth and light. It can be a source of great joy and growth, and in those moments it is a positive omen. Helios is also the enforcer of oaths, and his all-seeing nature allows him to know both when you do things well, but also when you are not true to your word. To someone who has been dishonest or broken an oath, this is a symbol that can call you out on your behavior and expect you to take responsibility for it. Helios sees all, both positive and negative, so keep that in mind as you move forward.

A poem to help memorize the meaning of Eta could be:

High above,

the all-seeing

Helios watches

Below are a few attributes of this symbol:

  • English Letter: H

  • Dice Value: 23

  • Color: Orange
