Learning the Greek Alphabet Oracle: An Introduction

Last week, I finished walking through the symbols of the Ogham. I absolutely loved learning about a new symbol set and I've decided I want to continue diving into different symbol sets and sharing a little bit information on them. For my next project, I want to talk about my favorite symbol set, the Greek Alphabet Oracle, also known as the Olympian Oracle.

For those who don’t know, the Greek Alphabet Oracle is a method of divination that was discovered in the city of Olympos in the region of Lycia, which is now Turkey. There is an inscription of this divination method that ties each individual letter to a divinatory sentence. The symbol set is made up of the 24 characters, found below:

Over the next 6 months, I will be sharing an individual Greek letter with you this blog each week along with an image & short poem to help remember what each symbol means. I look forward to having you along with me on this journey!
