Good evening! You may (or may not) have noticed that I took about a month off from most of my blog and social media posting stuffs. I had genuinely hoped to do Prayer a Day for the month of November, but 2020.....has been hard. I missed one day and that was the end of my motivation, but we're back and hopefully onto our regular schedule. Welcome to December. I'm so glad we're in the final month of this year. Let's start things off with some divination.
This week's omen comes from the the Goddess and Sirens Oracle by Stacey Demarco and Jimmy Manton. Below is our message for this week:

Nuit - Expansiveness
Vesta - Home
Brigid - Healing
Nuit is the Egyptian goddess of the sky. The sky expands endlessly in all directions, and the stars up above are infinite. This card tells us that there is nothing that we can't do, and that we have endless possibilities. Nuit encourages us to think about the bigger picture and not get lost in the tiny details.
Vesta is the Roman goddess of the home and the hearth fire. Her sacred fire brings light, warmth and comfort to our homes. This card tells us that it's time to center ourselves and turn to the sacred fires of our homes for protection, comfort, and and blessings. Vesta encourages us to look at the blessings closest to us, and appreciate those gifts we have in our homes.
Brigid is the Gaelic goddess of healing, smithing, and poetry. She is the patron deity of creativity and inspiration. This card shows us that it's a time for healing, and maybe that healing needs to come from inspiration. Express emotions, find creative projects or journeys, and have the discussions you need to have. They will help heal you in ways you never expected.
To summarize, now is a time for us to look outside of the details and try to grasp the bigger picture. We can find comfort in our homes, but healing comes from stepping outside of those comforts and allowing ourselves to be inspired in new ways.
If this message speaks to you, or if you have some other interpretation, I would love to hear from you! I hope you all have a wonderful week.
